Clinical Trial Protocol Description:

The purpose of this study is to assess how safe, tolerable, and effective MTR-601 (study drug) is in patients with cervical dystonia (CD) and to determine if the drug should be further developed in the population.

You will be in the study for up to 18 weeks, and you will have to visit the clinic approximately 5 times and have 3 virtual telephone visits. Participants will be assigned to study drug or placebo, and the study doctor and participants will not know what treatment has been assigned to them throughout the study.

Participants will be compensated for completed visits in this study.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria:

In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:

  • Are 18-80 years of age.
  • Have been diagnosed with cervical dystonia.
  • Have received botulinum toxin injections within the last 5 years.

You will be excluded from the study if any of the following criteria apply to you:

  • Have a history of, or physical examination findings indicating, clinically significant endocrine, neurological, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, hematological, hepatic, immunological, renal, respiratory, genitourinary, or muscle abnormalities or diseases that, in the opinion of the Investigator, renders you unsuitable for the study.
  • Have cervical dystonia due to trauma.
