Spontaneous Intracerebral Hemorrhage and Diffusion Weighted Imaging

Clinical Trial Title

The effect of diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) abnormalities on outcomes in patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage.

Clinical Trial Protocol Description:

The purpose of this study is to examine the prevalence of secondary ischemic injury in patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage and its impact on long-term functional recovery.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria:

In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:

  • Are between 18 and 80 years of age.
  • Have a spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage.
  • Have no prior clinical history of stroke.

You will be excluded from the study if any of the following criteria apply to you:

  • Have contraindications to contrasted MRI.
