Clinical Trial Title
The Lived Experience of Racial Microaggressions for People of Color While Receiving Physical Therapy ServicesContact Information
Clinical Trial Protocol Description:
This research study is designed to help us better understand how people of color experience racial microaggressions while receiving physical therapy services. We will do this by conducting one-on-one interviews with people of color who have experienced racial microaggressions during physical therapy sessions to allow them to share their experiences in their own context. We will conduct one-on-one interviews in-person, on the telephone, or through online video conferencing to learn about these experiences. Participants' identity will be kept anonymous and personal protective equipment (a medical grade mask, gloves, a face shield, gown, and hair covering) will be provided for in-person interviews.
Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria:
In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:
- Are at least 18 years of age.
- Identify as a person of color.
- Have experienced racial microaggressions while receiving physical therapy services within the last 5 years.
