Contact Information

Jerenda Bond, PT, DPT

Clinical Trial Protocol Description:

This research study is designed to help us better understand how people of color experience racial microaggressions while receiving physical therapy services. We will do this by conducting one-on-one interviews with people of color who have experienced racial microaggressions during physical therapy sessions to allow them to share their experiences in their own context. We will conduct one-on-one interviews in-person, on the telephone, or through online video conferencing to learn about these experiences. Participants' identity will be kept anonymous and personal protective equipment (a medical grade mask, gloves, a face shield, gown, and hair covering) will be provided for in-person interviews.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria:

In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:

  • Are at least 18 years of age.
  • Identify as a person of color.
  • Have experienced racial microaggressions while receiving physical therapy services within the last 5 years.

This is a partial list of eligibility requirements. To inquire about your eligibility, please call the contact number provided. If you wish to inquire via email, please include the title of the study in your message.
