Parking rates and garages for RUSH University Medical Center, RUSH Copley Medical Center and RUSH Oak Park Hospital.
Entering the Medical Center
The main entrance to RUSH University Medical Center is located at 1620 W. Harrison St., across the street from the parking garage. There are two pedestrian bridges to the hospital from the fourth floor, Section A level of the parking garage:
- The Harrison Street (north) bridge leads to the fourth floor of the Tower and the Atrium.
- The Paulina Street (west) bridge leads to the Professional Building and Armour Academic Center (RUSH University).
- After 9 p.m., you may use only the Harrison Street bridge.
The main parking garage at RUSH University Medical Center is on the southeast corner of Paulina and Harrison streets. It is a large enclosed garage that has a covered walkway that connects to the Tower, Atrium, Professional Building, and Sofija and Jorge O. Galante Orthopedic Building.
Parking at the Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building
A parking garage for the Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building is attached to the building. Rates for the garage are the same as the main parking garage on the RUSH University Medical Center campus.
To access the parking garage, please enter off the Congress Parkway entrance to the east of Ashland.
If you are being dropped off, please enter the building off of Harrison at 1520 W. Harrison St. Valet parking will also be available at the front of the building.
A fourth floor bridge is also available that connects the building to the Joan and Paul Rubschlager Tower.
Dedicated parking for radiation therapy patients is available on the first floor of the garage. When you arrive, enter the Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building parking garage at the “Restricted Entrance,” on Congress Parkway. The dedicated spaces are on the first floor of the garage by the north-facing wall. There are signs for each of the 28 dedicated spots. Parking rates
Please note that RUSH University Medical Center recently implemented new parking rates. This slight increase in rates will allow RUSH to continue to improve the parking experience for our patients and visitors. The rates for the main parking garage and the Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building parking garage are as follows:

Discounted parking
Discount parking coupons are available at a cost of five for $35 (cash or credit card accepted) and may be purchased at the parking office, located on the fourth floor of the main garage in the northeast corner from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. Discount coupons are not valid for valet parking.

Parking for people with disabilities
- A discounted rate of $10 for valet parking is available to people with disabilities.
- Wheelchair assistance is available at the following valet parking entrances:

- Professional Building, 1725 W. Harrison St.
- Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building, 1520 W. Harrison St
- Designated parking for people with disabilities is available on the fourth and fifth floor levels of Section A in RUSH's parking garage and on every floor near the elevators of the Joan and Paul Rubschlager Building parking garage. A valid disability license plate or placard must be visible.
Taxis
If you need a taxi, the valet parking and information desk staff at the main hospital entrance (1620 W. Harrison St.) can call a cab for you.
Bike Safety
When you arrive, please be aware of bicyclists on Harrison St. and surrounding areas. To make it safe for all travelers, do not park or wait in designated bike lanes or no parking zones, as you may be subject to a traffic ticket.
If you would like to bike to an appointment, we have racks and several Divvy bike-sharing stations. Those are located at Paulina Street and Flournoy Street, Ogden Avenue and Congress Parkway, and the Polk Street CTA Pink Line station.

General Parking
General parking is free and available throughout the hospital campus.
Complimentary Valet Parking
Complimentary valet parking is available for patients and guests. Located at the main entrance and the physician office building entrance, valet parking is offered Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with attendants available to retrieve cars until 5 p.m. If you need access to your vehicle after 4:30 p.m., please contact the security office at (630) 499-4717 for assistance.
Free parking
Free parking is available in the parking garage on Wisconsin Avenue (east side of RUSH Oak Park Hospital), as well as surface lots on Maple Avenue (west and south of RUSH Oak Park Hospital). Security personnel will escort visitors to their cars upon request and can assist with car trouble.
Free valet parking
Free valet parking is available at the entrance at the intersection of Maple and Monroe Avenues from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
