Outpatient Laboratories

There are three full-service outpatient laboratories at Rush. You do not need an appointment for lab services.
Please note: Patients requiring a 1 hour glucose tolerance test must present to the lab 1 hour and 30 minutes before the lab closes to ensure proper preparation and processing involved for this test.

  • Rush will bill the insurance company directly.
  • If you do not have claim forms, lab personnel will ask you to pay (with cash or credit card) at the time of service.
