Many guests and patients who seek care at Rush South Loop, located on South Michigan Avenue just south of East 14th Street, come from nearby neighborhoods in Chicago, as well as the surrounding areas. The closest major intersection to our location is South Michigan Avenue and East Roosevelt Road.

Here are general directions from various parts of Chicago:

• From north: Head south on US-41 South/North DuSable Lake Shore Drive, then turn right onto East Roosevelt Road. Turn left on South Michigan Avenue. Rush South Loop will be on the left. To get to the parking garage, take a left on East 14th Street and a right at the first alley. There are signs that will point you in the right direction.
• From northwest: Take I-90 East and exit toward I-290 East. Use the left lane to take the ramp to East Jackson Boulevard, then use the left lane to take the ramp to Ida B. Wells Drive. Keep left to continue on West Ida B. Wells Drive, which will eventually become East Ida B. Wells Drive. Turn right on South Michigan Avenue. Rush South Loop will be on the left. To get to the parking garage, take a left on East 14th Street and a right at the first alley. There are signs that will point you in the right direction.
• From west: Take I-290 East and continue onto IL-110 East. Keep left to continue on West Ida B. Wells Drive and continue onto East Ida B. Wells Drive. Turn right on South Michigan Avenue. Rush South Loop will be on the left. To get to the parking garage, take a left on East 14th Street and a right at the first alley. There are signs that will point you in the right direction.
• From southwest: Take I-55 North and exit at 293A toward Cermak Road/Chinatown. Use the right two lanes to turn right onto West Cermak Road. Turn left onto South Michigan Avenue. Rush South Loop will be on the right. To get to the parking garage, take a right on East 14th Street and a right at the first alley. There are signs that will point you in the right direction.
• From south: Take I-90 West/I-94 West and use the left lane to take exit 53C toward I-55 North/Stevenson Expressway North/Lake Shore Drive/22nd Street. Use the left two lanes to take the exit toward 22nd Street/Chinatown, then use the right two lanes to turn right onto West Cermak Road. Turn left onto South Michigan Avenue. Rush South Loop will be on the right. To get to the parking garage, take a right on East 14th Street and a right at the first alley. There are signs that will point you in the right direction.

Street parking is available near Rush South Loop, but most visitors park in the garage in the alley off of East 14th Street. Signs at the intersection of East 14th Street and South Michigan Avenue should direct you to the garage.

The parking garage entrance is accessible through the alley behind the building and is only available to Rush patients and employees. Parking rates are as follows:

• Up to 2 hours: $6
• Up to 4 hours: $8
• Up to 12 hours: $20

The rates listed are validated parking rates. The garage is privately owned, and prices are subject to change.

If you are planning to drive, please allow extra time as there are periodic delays in access to the parking garage. Metered street parking and public transportation are alternative options to be considered. We apologize for the inconvenience. Rush South Loop is located along several CTA bus routes, including the following:

• 1 Bronzeville/Union Station — Michigan & 14th Street stop
• 3 King Drive — Michigan & 14th Street stop
• 4 Cottage Grove — Michigan & 14th Street stop
• 12 Roosevelt — Indiana & 14th Street stop

If you intend to take the Metra into the city, the 1 Bronzeville/Union Station CTA bus route stops at Union Station and can take you to the Michigan & 14th Street stop.

Several CTA ‘L’ trains also travel to the nearby Roosevelt stop, including the following:

• Orange line
• Green line
• Red line

Some diagnostic services, such as electrocardiograms and X-rays, may be available without an appointment. Other services may be available depending on physicians’ availability. Please contact us to confirm availability before visiting.

Your first visit to Rush South Loop will vary depending on the services you need. But you should plan enough travel time to get through traffic and find parking if you plan to drive in. Some street parking is available, and there is a small parking garage that you can access in the alley behind the building. Parking is usually not free, and there is no valet service.

It is generally best to arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment to fill out any necessary paperwork. The time your appointment will take varies by service, but you should generally expect it to take no less than 30 minutes for most services.
