Gina Rodriguez serves as senior vice president and the chief development officer at Rush. Rodriguez works alongside system and board leadership to cultivate and steward principal and transformational gifts while strengthening a culture of philanthropy across the Rush system. She partners closely with faculty, staff and volunteer leaders to align fundraising efforts with key priorities including health equity, neuroscience, bone and joint, cancer, education and workforce development, innovation and emerging opportunities.
Rodriguez brings more than two decades of experience helping mission-driven organizations translate bold aspirations into meaningful philanthropic partnerships across the globe. She has led teams through major campaigns totaling more than $1 billion and throughout her career has built trusted relationships with donors and volunteers, strengthened advancement teams and guided ambitious fundraising efforts that position organizations for sustained growth.
Prior to joining Rush, Rodriguez served as senior vice president of advancement and external relations at the Jackson Laboratory, where she led a comprehensive strategy to strengthen donor engagement and principal and major gift programs.
