NAMI Chicago hosts support groups for adults experiencing mental health conditions. These groups are led by trained “peers” who are also living with mental health conditions and create a safe space to talk about what’s going on. Groups are held in several locations across Chicago. Groups are currently held in-person and virtually. Groups are available in English and Spanish.

Parent Universities provide learning experiences to empower families to support their student’s academic success. Classes are free, and topics include understanding Common Core, GED, ESL, parenting skills, health and wellness, nutrition, understanding Microsoft programs, financial literacy, job search, and career development strategies.
