Twenty-five specialists from RUSH have been recognized by Chicago magazine as "top brain doctors."
The physicians at RUSH University Medical Center, RUSH Oak Park Hospital and RUSH Children’s Hospital are among 174 recognized by the magazine from across the Chicago area. They practice in seven of 11 specialties highlighted in the magazine, including pediatric and adult neurology, neurologic surgery, psychiatry, ophthalmology, geriatric medicine and geriatric psychiatry.
"Whether treating physical or mental issues, these 174 physicians are the best in the Chicago area when it comes to matters of the gray matter," the magazine says.
The list is prepared in cooperation with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a health care research and information company that asked physicians and hospital leaders to identify exceptionally highly skilled doctors.
