RUSH is expanding health care options to people who live and work in the growing West Loop neighborhood by opening a new outpatient center at 839 W. Madison St.

RUSH West Loop opened May 3. The 6,000-square-foot outpatient center will offer patients spacious exam rooms and access to primary care physicians — both internal medicine and family practice — and specialists in obstetrics and gynecology. Additional specialty care, such as dermatology, is planned in the coming months.

“The opening of RUSH West Loop reflects our strong commitment to bring top physicians and services closer to where patients live and work,” said Dr. Omar Lateef, RUSH president and CEO. “We look forward to making RUSH care more convenient for people living in the West Loop and nearby neighborhoods.”

Care where you need it

RUSH has more than 30 outpatient centers, including convenient locations in River North, the South Loop and other Chicago neighborhoods, as well as in Oak Brook, Aurora and Munster, Indiana. In addition, RUSH plans to open a multispecialty care outpatient center at the corner of North and Harlem avenues in Chicago, bordering the villages of Oak Park and Elmwood Park.

“We continue to bring RUSH’s clinical excellence and top-tier quality to more neighborhoods and communities both near and far,” said Paul E. Casey, MD, MBA, chief medical officer at RUSH University Medical Center.
