Your experience during you first visit will depend on your diagnosis or the reason for your visit. But patents are usually greeted by a care coordinator at the front desk who will help guide you on where to go and what to do. You will likely spend some time with a medical assistant, then be directed to a room to see your physician. Sometimes, you may also see a nurse who can educate you further on what to expect going forward. Some patients are also referred to social workers in the clinic for more support with next steps.

We always recommend bringing any relevant previous test results or images, such as MRIs, CT scans, EEGs or EMGs, with you for your visit.
