The following tests and treatments are some of the most common tests and treatments offered by specialists in this area.   • DEXA Scan

    DEXA scan, or dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry scan, is a method to measure bone mineral density. Measuring a person’s bone mineral density can help determine his or her risk of a bone fracture or osteoporosis.
  • Infusion Therapy

    Infusion therapy is for giving medication through a needle or catheter. Doctors may prescribe infusion therapy when a condition cannot be treated effectively with the use of medications taken by mouth. Infusion therapy can help patients with many types of disease. These include cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, many types of rheumatologic disorders and certain infections that are resistant to oral antibiotics.
