Dermatologists at Rush care for patients with skin, hair and nail diseases, including skin cancer. They have expertise is treating common conditions like psoriasis, and rare conditions like cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. And they offer a full range of cosmetic therapies — from Botox and fillers to microneedling to platelet-rich plasma — that can help you feel more confident about the way you look.

The department also includes the following:

  • The latest treatment techniques, like Mohs surgery — offering the highest cure rate of any skin cancer procedure
  • Dermatologists with additional training and board certification in internal medicine — enabling them to better diagnose and treat underlying conditions that cause skin symptoms
  • A research component aimed at understanding the mechanisms of skin diseases and how to better treat them
