Christopher Seder is a general thoracic surgeon who operates on all aspects of the chest, including the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum and chest wall. He takes a collaborative approach to care, working with a multi-disciplinary team of thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists to treat his patients battling cancer.

J. Brady Scott is the director of clinical education and is an associate professor for the Respiratory Care program. He lectures at regional, state, national and international conferences on topics relating to respiratory care. Scott's clinical practice experience is in adult emergency/critical respiratory care.

Michael Liptay is a thoracic surgeon whose focus is treating people with lung cancer. He is the chairman of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at RUSH and is the leader of University Thoracic Surgeons, the busiest minimally invasive thoracic surgery group in the metropolitan Chicago area.

Prema Nanavaty is a pulmonologist and critical care physician whose clinical expertise includes interstitial lung disease, lung nodules, pneumonia, pulmonary embolisms and respiratory failure. She is also well-versed in endoobronchial ultrasound and transbronchial needle aspiration.
Robert Balk is a pulmonologist and a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at RUSH. His other areas of clinical expertise include acute respiratory distress syndrome, lung disease and acute injury, pulmonary fibrosis and respiratory failure. His areas of research include sepsis/septic shock and severe pneumonia.
