  • The Rush system includes Rush University Medical Center, Rush Copley Medical Center and Rush Oak Park Hospital, as well as many offices throughout the Chicago area and suburbs. So you can get the same outstanding care closer to home.
  • Several offsite locations, including Rush River North, Rush South Loop (opening in 2018) and Rush Copley Medical Center's Yorkville location offer multiple providers — including primary care physicians and specialists — and services under one roof. The Yorkville location also features a 24/7 emergency center.
  • Rush will open a new 100,000-square-foot facility in Oak Brook in spring 2019, featuring providers from orthopedics and 17 other specialties. The building will include a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center, physical and occupational therapy, a laboratory and imaging services.
  • For your convenience, several of our locations offer weekend, morning, late evening and weekend hours.
  • Several Rush University Medical Center locations, including the Medical Center campus, offer walk-in primary care with no appointment needed.
  • Rush Copley Medical Center has four Convenient Care locations (Aurora, Oswego, Sugar Grove and Yorkville) to treat everyday illnesses and injuries. 

Bringing the latest advances to you, wherever you are

  • MyChart electronic health record system enables you to communicate with your care team, schedule appointments, pay your medical bills, refill prescriptions and access test results from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
  • Open scheduling allows you to see certain providers' schedules and make your own appointment online.
  • Through Rush's e-visits programs, available at Rush University Medical Center and at Rush Copley Medical Center, you can get a diagnosis and prescriptions for certain common conditions emailed to you from a Rush provider, within an hour: learn about e-visits at Rush University Medical Center and about the e-visit program at Rush Copley
  • The Rush TeleStroke Network provides 24 x 7 x 365 access to a board-certified stroke specialist for stroke patients at our affiliate emergency rooms.
  • Patients with the Rush Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Program have the option of using telemedicine for all or some of their follow-up consultations. Patients can interact with their neurologist over the computer, without having to come to the doctor's office.
  • A mobile stroke unit, serving parts of the western suburbs, brings crucial stroke care directly to patients at their homes or wherever they're in need.

  • Rush University Medical Center received Vizient's Quality Leadership Award in 2017, ranking fourth among 107 academic medical centers — the fifth consecutive top-5 ranking and the ninth time since 2005. We are the only medical center in Illinois among those participating in the study to receive this award.
  • Rush University Medical Center and Rush Copley Medical Center each have received five stars, the highest possible rating, for hospital quality from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and Rush Oak Park Hospital received a four-star rating from CMS. Less than 7.5 percent of hospitals nationwide received five stars, and Rush University Medical Center is the only five-star academic medical center in the Chicago area.
  • Rush University Medical Center and Rush Copley Medical Center have received an A grade 12 times in The Leapfrog Group's twice-yearly nationwide safety evaluation of hospitals — putting us among the elite 59 hospitals (2.2 percent) receiving grades who have earned the top score every time.
  • Rush Oak Park Hospital received its third consecutive A grade and fifth overall from The Leapfrog Group in 2017, and was one of only 56 hospitals nationwide to receive Leapfrog Group's Top General Hospital distinction.
  • Rush University Medical Center and Rush Oak Park Hospital have both received Magnet status, the highest recognition given for nursing excellence. And Rush University Medical Center is the only hospital in Illinois caring for both adults and children to receive Magnet recognition four consecutive times.
  • All three Rush hospitals are accredited by The Joint Commission, a national organization assisting healthcare organizations to continuously provide safe, high-quality care, treatment and services.
