Rush University System for Health has received Certificate of Need approval from the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board for a new outpatient medical office building in Elmhurst.
The proposed 22,695-square-foot facility, to be located at 107 N. York St., will expand access to Rush services for patients in the western suburbs and support growing demand for care in the region.
Plans include physician exam rooms, imaging, laboratory services, pharmacy services and other outpatient care services.
"Many patients from this area are already seeking care throughout our system,” said Kate Jones, senior vice president and chief strategy officer. “We look forward to continuing to work with local community partners as plans move ahead, and we remain committed to improving access to high-quality care for the communities Rush serves."
The $27 million project is estimated to be completed in summer 2028.
