The eHealthcare Leadership Awards recently honored RUSH’s newly relaunched website, rush.edu, for excellence in six categories.

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards recognizes the best health care websites and digital communications in the United States. This year’s competition drew more than 1,000 entries, and more than 100 marketing professionals offered feedback before the winners were chosen.

“The awards recognize the extraordinary work of the entire team and our partners inside and outside the organization and reflect RUSH’s strong commitment to excellence in patient care,” said Chris Gade, vice president of marketing and engagement.

In October 2020, rush.edu relaunched as a system-level website, a first for RUSH, providing a unified approach and increasing consumer options for access to the excellent health care providers and services available. It brings together all of RUSH’s clinical services, doctor profiles, locations and storytelling into one platform, while also centralizing RUSH’s virtual health offerings into a curated experience.

RUSH puts patients first in all its digital platforms, connecting users with RUSH services whenever and wherever they need them. RUSH and its Marketing Communications team have a strong commitment to grow and strengthen rush.edu, the My Rush mobile app and other digital offerings.

“We’re listening to our audiences, particularly consumers,” said Ryan Nagdeman, associate vice president, marketing and communications. “Through many focus groups, we underwent an extensive stakeholder review, with patients, referring physicians and clinical leaders across RUSH vetting information and providing suggestions that helped guide the site’s design and organization.”

RUSH was awarded the following 2021 eHealthCare Leadership Awards in November:
