RUSH, a national leader in patient care, education, research and community partnerships, is expanding its presence in Oak Lawn, increasing access to its specialty care services in Chicago’s southwest suburbs.
RUSH Oak Lawn will open a new and larger space at 5851 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn, Illinois, in November 2023. The outpatient clinic will offer care by specialists in colorectal surgery, ear, nose and throat, medical weight loss, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery and surgical oncology.
“Our expansion in Oak Lawn reflects our strong commitment to make RUSH services as convenient and accessible as possible to all patients we serve,” said Paul Casey, MD, MBA, chief medical officer and senior vice president, RUSH University Medical Center.
RUSH is expanding and enhancing patient care, digitally, with several virtual care options, and in more than 30 outpatient locations across the Chicago area and northwest Indiana.
RUSH’s strong presence in the western suburbs, where it has extensive outpatient and hospital services in Aurora and Oak Park, also will be enhanced by expanded cancer care in a new Lisle location. RUSH programs, including cancer care, are ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
In Chicago, RUSH recently received approval to open a 60,000-square-foot multispecialty care facility at the intersection of North and Harlem avenues in the Galewood neighborhood, adjacent to the villages of Oak Park and Elmwood Park. The Oak Lawn location will join outpatient centers in several other convenient locations, including Chicago’s River North, South Loop and West Loop neighborhoods and Munster, Indiana.
