​​Crain's Chicago Business named 13 Rush University System for Health employees and teams to its list of 2020 Notable Health Care Heroes. Crain's invited nominations of people and groups in recognition of exceptional work caring for patients, supporting health care providers or helping those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Rush honorees included clinical and nonclinical staff from Rush University Medical Center, Rush Oak Park Hospital and Rush University. Some helped patients come through the worst of COVID-19, others helped them communicate with their families while others jumped into action to make drive-through testing available.
