Rush reports quality data on many clinical metrics to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) – one of them being Breast Cancer Screening. We do this for reimbursement from CMS as well as for transparent quality reporting to the public.
CMS defines Breast Cancer Screening as the percentage of women 50-74 years of age who had a mammogram to screen for breast cancer during the measurement period or the year prior to the measurement period.
