Section of Endocrine Surgery

Endocrine surgeons at Rush specialize in removing cancerous and noncancerous tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, as well as neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas (also called islet cell tumors).

They perform most of these procedures using minimally invasive techniques, which can lead to faster recovery, less pain and reduced scarring.

They also offer in-office diagnostic testing and surgeon-performed ultrasound exams, minimizing the need to travel between offices during your visit.
