Through an incision no larger than the tip of a pencil, our interventional radiologists thread a thin tube with a tiny video camera to hard-to-see areas of the body. They can treat certain conditions, including clogged arteries and uterine fibroids, during the same procedure. This often results in less pain and shorter recovery time than you’d experience during traditional open surgery.
