At Rush Copley Healthplex, we know that regular massage and body work can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase flexibility, reduce muscle fatigue and stress, promote faster healing of injured muscle tissue, improve posture and reduce blood pressure. It also promotes better sleep, improves concentration, reduces anxiety and creates an overall sense of well-being. All massages are performed by licensed massage therapists.
Types of massages:
- Remedial: Specific massage to address tissue pathologies and improve range of motion. It supports healing and reduces nerve pain.
- Swedish: The most popular form of massage relaxes muscles and relieves aches and pains.
- Sports: This massage utilizes specific techniques to support athletes in obtaining maximum performance, physical conditioning, endurance and mobility - before and after events or exercise.
- Prenatal: This massage relieves fatigue and backache, enhances sleep, can help reduce edema and prepares a mother for the birthing process. For women who are past their first trimester with consent from their doctor.
- Deep Tissue: This massage accesses the deeper layers of muscle tissue using slow, repetitive techniques.

Massages are by appointment only, seven days a week, and may be scheduled at the Front Desk or by calling (630) 978-6280. A credit card will be required during booking for those who are not members of the Healthplex.

Frequently Asked Questions
There are two massage therapy rooms located between the ladies and men’s locker rooms. Both massage rooms have an entrance from each locker room. You will wait in the sitting area of your locker room where your therapist will find you when your room is ready. Please be available 5 minutes before your appointment.
You may change in the massage rooms. There are hooks and a chair available for belongings.
It is appropriate to completely disrobe, wear underwear or other articles of clothing based on your comfort level and the type of work being done. Only areas of the body being worked on will be exposed, while the rest is securely covered with a sheet or other drape.
Tipping is allowed and appreciated by the therapists. Feel free to tip as you would for other services (hair stylist, waiter, waitress, etc.)
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at least 24 hours before your appointment. A $35 fee will be assessed for all reservations canceled less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.
