How it works
Video visits are fast, easy and convenient.
- Check in for a video visit and get a notification within 20 minutes that a provider is ready to connect or select a same-day appointment time.
- Chat one-on-one with a live RUSH provider. If you need prescriptions, they’ll be sent to your pharmacy of choice.
Video visits are available to adults and to children older than 3 months. New and existing patients are accepted.
Video visits aren't available on major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).
Start your virtual visit
Take the following steps to get started with your video visit:
- Log in to MyChart or register for a MyChart account on your browser or in the My RUSH app.
- If you’re using MyChart, select Talk to a Provider from the main menu. If you’re using the My RUSH app, navigate to Appointments > On-Demand Video Visits.
- Enter information about your condition and complete the check-in process.

We may bill you and/or your insurance for the relevant amount after your appointment. You may be charged a copay that you can choose to pay at the time of your visit or later.
