She has also held statewide leadership positions with the Illinois Health and Hospital Association and the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council, where she worked with dozens of hospitals to improve care for patients across the region. Most recently she was a practice leader for SullivanCotter Associates, where she has been nationally recognized for her innovative work in supporting advanced practice providers and guiding workforce development in health care systems.
In addition to her professional leadership, Anen has a strong record of service on health care boards and advisory committees, including the University of Illinois College of Nursing Advisory Board and the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders, where she served as president.
