About University Gynecologic Oncology

Due to construction work related to Rush’s new cancer and neurosciences building, some lanes will be closed on Ashland Avenue near Harrison Street, as well as Congress Parkway. University Gynecologic Oncology Associates provides a comprehensive, compassionate and individualized approach to the care and management of gynecologic malignancies. The practice's clinical team is on the leading edge of treatment for cervical, uterine, ovarian, vaginal, vulvar and primary peritoneal cancer.

Our team members are highly skilled in the most state-of-the-art technology and techniques, including minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgeries that allow patients to return to normal activity more quickly than with traditional therapies.

A full range of treatments are offered, from standard therapies to innovative treatment options, and new options are being explored every day. Many women benefit from chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery or a combination of these therapies. As part of the clinic, you will receive the newest treatments available for gynecologic cancer, including:

  • Clinical trials (GOG, Pharmaceutical)
  • Standard chemotherapy
  • Intraperitoneal chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer
  • Intensity modulated radiation therapy

A personalized treatment plan will be developed after your initial visit.

An enclosed parking garage, on the southeast corner of Paulina and Harrison streets, has a covered walkway that connects to the Professional Building, where our practice is located. To view the garage on Google Maps, go to Rush Patient and Visitor Parking.

Discount parking

We offer reduced rates to our patients by validating your parking ticket before you leave. There is no time limit on validation. Discount parking coupon booklets may be purchased at the guest relations desks in the fourth floor Atrium Building lobby and the fourth floor Armour Academic Center entrance from the parking garage. Discount coupons are not valid for valet parking.

Valet parking

Valet parking is available outside the lobby of the Professional Building at 1725 W. Harrison St. We do notvalidate for valet parking.
