Current Administrative Fellows
Shannon Reilly earned her Master of Public Health in Healthcare Management from Boston University. While in graduate school, Shannon worked full-time as a Revenue Integrity Specialist in the Access Management Department of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Her graduate schoolwork consisted of a wide array of classes including Lean Management and Healthcare Delivery Systems.
During her four years at Dana-Farber, Shannon's role included obtaining insurance prior authorizations for chemotherapy, training colleagues, and assisting in the streamlining of team processes and procedures. Shannon also had the opportunity to fulfill her graduate school practicum requirement at Dana-Farber, during which she worked on two high-level projects: increasing the number of patients who completed appointment check-in online, and creating standard operating procedures for a new ambulatory service line.
Shannon attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences. While there, she competed on the women's club ice hockey team and was a brother in the national Alpha Phi Omega fraternity. In her free time, Shannon enjoys exploring her new home Chicago, going to museums, volunteering, and keeping up with her favorite hockey teams.
Aiman Arif earned her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Health Services Administration from the University of Arizona. While in graduate school, Aiman served as a consultant in the Eller School of Management for the Arizona Department of Economic Security's Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Here, she gained experience in resource allocation through developing payment models that maximized social value and recipient welfare. Aiman completed an internship at the Maricopa County Public Health Department, where she developed a curriculum for the COVID-19 contact tracing program. Aiman also worked as a graduate teaching assistant for undergraduate public health policy and management courses.
Aiman attend University of California, Berkeley, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health and Near Eastern Studies. While there, she served as a health advocate for the Oakland community, and volunteered at community health clinics. Aiman is married to a Rush alum and has a 1 year old daughter. In her free time, Aiman enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, biking, and developing recipes on the weekend.
