What’s included in a membership
When you become a member of RUSH Concierge Medicine, you get an elevated primary care experience. Your membership provides direct access to your concierge provider 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and enhanced access to specialty care at any RUSH location. Your membership also includes a thorough, personalized exam with your concierge physician, which includes the following:
- A review of your medical history and comprehensive physical exam.
- A comprehensive lab panel.
- A proactive health and well-being assessment. This includes the SECA Body Composition scale test, which measures your body fat, muscle mass and water content. The results of your test provide helpful information about preventing diseases and staying healthy.
- An EKG, or electrocardiogram, which gives us a snapshot of your heart’s activity.
- A CardioCoach VO2Max test, which measures your body's oxygen use during exercise to help you get the most out of your workouts and training.
- Point-of-care testing, which means your provider can test you in the office for illnesses like flu, COVID-19 and strep throat, so you can get your results immediately and start treatment faster.
- Enhanced access to specialty care and coordinated care with providers at RUSH Oak Brook, if needed.
- Direct access to your concierge provider 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Additional testing recommendations based on your needs.
After your initial exam, your team will schedule a follow-up visit to review your test results.

- Schedule a meet-and-greet appointment with our provider. Our team will schedule a meeting with you and our concierge provider, either at our offices at RUSH Hinsdale or virtually.
- Schedule your annual visit. Once you decide to enroll, our team will establish your membership and will schedule your initial, comprehensive annual exam with your concierge physician.

Concierge medicine is a membership-based service that offers you a dedicated personal physician, who provides individualized care, and enhanced services and 24 hours a day, seven days a week access.
As a member of RUSH Concierge Medicine, you will have unlimited access to your personal physician. Our memberships also include longer appointment times, same- or next-day appointments, unlimited access to your personal physician and virtual appointments. You will also have access to a range of preventive and wellness services, such as the CardioCoach VO2Max test for optimizing workouts.
If you need to talk with your personal provider via phone, they will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Office hours will be available Monday through Friday, on an as needed basis. We also offer same- or next-day appointments, as well as virtual appointments.
RUSH Concierge Medicine offers the Galleri test, which can detect more than 50 types of cancer through a single blood draw. If you’re interested, ask your concierge provider for more information about this test and any additional costs.

If you become hospitalized or need to see a specific specialist for care, our concierge provider will assist you with referrals and work closely with other health care providers to ensure you receive integrated care.
Yes, the membership fee for RUSH Concierge Medicine covers your annual physical, 24 hours a day, seven days a week access to your provider, and coordination of specialty care as needed. It does not cover the cost of the medical care delivered to you.
No, not if you are a member of RUSH Concierge Medicine. But you may for services outside of your membership depending on your insurance.
Meet our team
Luan Elezi, MD, is the primary physician at RUSH Concierge Medicine. Board-certified in family medicine, Elezi believes in partnering with his patients in a collaborative environment that emphasizes preventive care and positive lifestyle modifications. RUSH Concierge Medicine affords him the opportunity and resources to provide his patients with high-quality, personalized care. Elezi utilizes his network and referral connections to provide collaborative and comprehensive health care.
In his free time, Elezi enjoys playing sports and spending time with his family and community.
Marie Runyan, RN, BSN, is a seasoned concierge medicine nurse and executive. She previously founded and operated a concierge nursing company in Southern California. In addition to her concierge background, she brings more than a decade of critical care nursing experience to the practice.
Runyan is committed to providing our members with an extraordinary level of care. She has witnessed firsthand the benefits of a concierge model and the superior care that can be provided outside the constraints of a traditional practice model.
Runyan currently resides in Hinsdale with her husband and two boys, where she is actively involved in the local community. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
