A phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, evaluation of the safety of N1539 following major surgery.

Clinical Trial Protocol Description:

The purpose of this study is to test a study drug for safety and pain management after an elective surgery.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria:

In order to participate you must be having surgery which would require a 48 hour hospitalization and not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

You will be excluded from the study if any of the following criteria apply to you:

  • Are HIV positive.
  • Have cancer.
  • Have a known bleeding disorder.
  • Have a history of alcohol abuse.
