In the past several years, lymphoma care has become more effective with fewer side effects. And Rush lymphoma specialists have been on the leading edge of these advancements for treating all types of lymphomas, including Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas.

At Rush, you’ll find a multidisciplinary team of lymphoma experts committed to patient-centered care. They will partner with you to discuss your treatment options and determine a personalized treatment plan for you — all while focusing on your quality of life.

Leading-edge lymphoma treatment options

Thanks to advanced treatment options, our team can treat many low-grade lymphomas as chronic diseases, with few treatment side effects. Additionally, we offer genetic profiling and molecular testing, which can help us determine the most effective treatments for you based on your DNA.

Our team specializes in targeted therapies and immunotherapies, which may have fewer side effects than conventional chemotherapy. We also provide CAR-T cell therapy and bone marrow and stem cell transplant for more aggressive lymphomas.

As one of the nation’s leading academic health systems, Rush also offers clinical trials that are looking at novel approaches for treating lymphomas.

Excellence in Lymphoma Care

Molecular profiling for lymphoma

Your lymphoma care at Rush may include molecular profiling, which analyzes your unique genetic makeup and helps your care team make personalized treatment recommendations and decisions that will be most effective for you.

A multidisciplinary lymphoma team

Most of our lymphoma patients receive care through The Coleman Foundation Comprehensive Lymphoma Clinic. In the clinic your care team — which may include hematologists, bone marrow transplant physicians, radiologists, pathologists, radiation oncologists, advanced practice providers and others — bring their collective expertise together to develop an individualized treatment plan for you.

Supportive care

At Rush, you will have access to the Cancer Integrative Medicine Program, which offers integrative therapies to complement traditional cancer treatments. The program offers psychosocial counseling, nutritional counseling, acupuncture and massage. The team can also connect you to other resources, such as financial counseling and transportation assistance, to help you and your family address the physical, social and emotional challenges of cancer treatment.

"We are very patient-focused here at Rush. We treat our patients as individuals, not just their cancer diagnosis. And it's not just the doctors. It's the nurse navigators, the infusion nurses and all of the other ancillary staff that make this place so special and makes the care that our patients receive exceptional."
