Nursing Apprenticeship Program - RUSH Nurse externship program: Nurse apprentices are nursing students hired into the eight-week-long summer student nurse externship program at RUSH University Medical Center. The program supports our West Side anchor mission and increases the diversity of our workforce by recruiting candidates from underrepresented minority groups, better reflecting the communities we serve.
