About Rush Senior Care
Due to construction work related to Rush’s new cancer and neurosciences building, some lanes will be closed on Ashland Avenue near Harrison Street, as well as Congress Parkway. Please avoid Ashland Avenue and Congress Parkway and allow extra time. To learn more about alternative routes to reach Rush destinations on Harrison Street, including the main parking garage and Professional Building, please visit this web page.
Rush Senior Care is dedicated to serving patients age 65 years and older.
RUSC offers patient and family centered care provided by an inter-disciplinary team of board certified geriatricians, nurse practitioners, a dietician, and a social worker.
As a teaching practice, patients also benefit from the involvement of trainees from a variety of disciplines.
This practice provides both primary care as well as consultative care and we are pleased to work with a patient's primary care physician when patients present for evaluation of geriatric syndromes such as functional decline, falls, urinary incontinence, memory loss, personality change, frailty, polypharmacy, pain and symptom management.
An enclosed parking garage, on the southeast corner of Paulina and Harrison streets, has a covered walkway that connects to the Professional Building, where our practice is located. To view the garage on Google Maps, go to Rush Patient and Visitor Parking. We offer reduced rates to our patients by validating your parking ticket before you leave. There is no time limit on validation. Discount parking coupon booklets may be purchased at the guest relations desks in the fourth floor Atrium Building lobby and the fourth floor Armour Academic Center entrance from the parking garage. Discount coupons are not valid for valet parking. Valet parking is available outside the lobby of the Professional Building at 1725 W. Harrison St. We do not validate for valet parking.
The Rush University Medical Center campus is conveniently located just west of downtown Chicago and is easily accessible from I-290 off of Ashland Avenue or the Chicago Transit Authority’s Blue line (Illinois Medical District stop) or Pink line (Polk stop).
