Rush University System for Health has served thousands of patients since the beginning of the coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19, outbreak. But this crisis is changing every day. While Rush is as prepared as any health system can be, our ability to test and treat greater numbers of people will stretch the limits of our financial and staff resources if we do not act now.
Support from Rush’s generous donor community can have an immediate impact on the work of our coronavirus response team and on the populations we serve.
Gifts to the Rush COVID-19 Response Fund strengthen our team’s ability to make the Chicago area healthier and safer, providing the tools, technology and resources to care for critically ill patients and increase capacity for testing. Your gifts also help with meals, PPE, childcare and other services for frontline staff and provide support for patients and their loved ones.
Gifts to the Rush Coronavirus Research Fund speed our ability to study — and ultimately understand — COVID-19, supporting everything from the analysis of clinical data to the collection and storage of vital biospecimens.
- Even as today’s clinical teams combat COVID-19, hundreds of future health care professionals continue their Rush University education virtually. Gifts to the COVID-19 Student Relief Fund assist those who are facing financial hardship due to the virus, allowing these students to focus on their academic coursework.
