Clinical Team

At Rush, physicians, nurses, social workers and other health professionals work together to meet the care needs of older adults. In addition to treating disease and working to prevent disability, we work closely with older adults and their families to help maintain health, independence and active lifestyles for as long as possible. The geriatric care team at Rush also includes researchers and educators dedicated to advancing the interdisciplinary practice of geriatrics, through the education of health care professionals to meet the care needs of older adults and through research seeking knowledge about common disorders and diseases that affect older adults. For profiles of physicians specializing in geriatrics and related areas at Rush, see the link for Find a Doctor, on the top of the navigation index at your left.
