Pediatric supportive and palliative care at Rush University Children’s Hospital offers an additional layer of care and support when your child is living with a chronic or life-limiting condition, such as cancer or muscular dystrophy.

An interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners and social workers provides family-centered care to support your child’s and your family’s overall well-being. The team is dedicated to improving your child’s quality of life by treating pain and other symptoms.

Pediatric palliative care can offer the following benefits:
