People undergoing light therapy sit near a device that mimics natural light. Light therapy is a treatment for people who suffer from circadian rhythm sleep disorders, which disrupt the body's internal clock. It can also be used to treat seasonal affective disorder (SAD), depression linked to the lack of light in winter. There are also specialized forms of light therapy to treat certain skin disorders, including psoriasis, vitiligo, scleroderma, acne, precancerous skin lesions and other conditions.
  • Medication Management

Medication management is when clinicians work with a patient to make sure he or she is on the most appropriate medications for that individual and his or her particular condition. This dialogue allows the clinician to adjust medications as needed.
