Graduate and Professional Training

The AARTS Center at Rush is committed to fostering, mentoring and training future clinical and research leaders in autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Some of the training programs available at the center include the following:
Graduate training
- Post-doctoral fellowships in clinical psychology and research
- Clinical psychology and externship program
- Training for fellows in the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship program
- Residents and medial students at Rush University Medical Center
Training collaborations
- Leadership in Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program: A collaborative training program between Rush and University of Illinois-Chicago that focuses on teaching advocacy, research, community engagement and clinical skills to graduate students
Professional training
- School district training for education professionals
- Training for law enforcement and legal professionals
