Walk-In Care

Rush provides walk-in care for patients 16 and older who need timely care that does not require a visit to the emergency department.

You do not need an appointment, and you do not need to be a current Rush patient. Nurse practitioners are on hand to treat your acute conditions.

We have three locations to serve your acute care needs: in Lincoln Park and on the Rush campus.

Walk-In Care Center on Campus

Offers a wide range of primary care services including minor illnesses, chronic disease flare-ups, preventive care, health maintenance or general complaints you wish to have addressed today.

In addition, common and acute conditions seen include the following:

Asthma
Influenza
Congestion
Cough
Other respiratory concerns
Urinary tract infection (UTI)
High blood pressure
Diabetes
High cholesterol

Walk-In Care Center at Lincoln Park

Provides services for acute conditions and ailments, including the following:

  • Diarrhea
  • Headaches
  • Stomach aches
  • Minor burns or injuries
  • Poison ivy
  • Impetigo
  • Insect bites
  • Ringworm
  • Styes
  • Swimmer's ear
