Anderson is a research nurse clinician for the Rush Institute for Healthy Aging. He earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Winneba Teacher Training College in Winneba, Ghana' his master's degree in exercise physiology from Springfield College, Springfield, Mass., his doctorate in exercise physiology from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, and his bachelor of science in nursing from Rush University College of Nursing. Prior to joining the Institute, Anderson was an assistant professor at Winston Salem State University in Winston-Salem, N.C., and a fitness consultant for various YMCAs in Winston-Salem N.C., and Atlanta, Ga. Since joining the Institute in 1994, he has spent the majority of his time doing field research for several studies of Alzheimer's disease. He also serves as a nurse clinician at the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center.
