Ashish Tamhane, PhD, is a research imaging scientist with Imaging and Bioengineering Studies at the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center. He is responsible for developing new acquisition techniques, data processing pipelines and analysis for ex-vivo MRI. Before he began working at the RADC in 2015, he worked for four years at AllTech Medical Systems as an associate imaging scientist. Tamhane received his bachelor’s degree in computer science at the Government College of Engineering in Amravati, India, his master’s in electrical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and PhD in biomedical engineering at IIT. He completed two years of postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago.
