Rush patients have shared their personal stories of courage, hope and healing to honor their doctors for National Doctors’ Day:

"Dr. Brian Cole treated me like I was his only patient, even though he sees complicated cases every day and treats professional athletes. He was determined to ease my pain and suggested an innovative procedure, one usually performed on younger patients, to realign my knee." -Lise Urbaczewski

"I had to relearn how to walk and talk, but I knew that with the support of Drs. Cheponis and Lin that we could beat this together. They are so talented and thorough. You can really tell they care about you."-Alice Adam Pado

"In January of last year, I climbed a mountain. A year and half prior, I was short of breath walking 100 feet. Reaching that summit wouldn’t have been possible without my cardiologist, Robert March, MD." -Craig Falkenthal

"Dr. Simon Lee helped me to walk again." -Peter England

"Thanks to Dr. Usha, I am a breast cancer survivor." -Maha Ditsch
