At Rush University Children’s Hospital, we understand that you know your child best, and we believe you are an integral member of your child’s care team.
That’s why we encourage parents, family members and caregivers to spend as much time as possible with their children when they are in the hospital.
- Bedside: Parents are welcome at their child’s bedside at any time of day or night.
- Overnight: One parent may stay overnight with their child.
Visiting hours for everyone else, including healthy siblings, are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Siblings and other children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
The neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and other select units within Rush University Children’s Hospital and Rush University Medical Center have special visitor policies.
