Emotional Wellness Group for Caregivers

This emotional wellness group will help family and friends who are caring for an adult or older adult gain new tools to better adapt to their role as caregiver, and better care for themselves and the person they are supporting.

In this group, we will work through the stress of caregiving, process difficult emotions, enhance coping and communication skills, and engage in relaxation exercises and mindfulness techniques.

This class meets every Friday from March 17 to June 2, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 12:40 p.m., at the Johnston R. Bowman Center, 710 S. Paulina St., Suite 316. Billable to most insurance.

Parking in the Rush garage or with Rush valet services will be validated in full for all participants. For more information or to register, please contact Sarah M. Gutierrez, LCSW at (312) 942-4986 or via email at sarah_m_gutierrez@rush.edu.
