Rush Generations Stroke Risk Assessment

September 28, 2020 - 1:00pm

Every year, nearly 800,000 people in the United States suffer from a stroke. Do you know if you are at risk?

The Rush Generations Program is partnering with the Rush Comprehensive Stroke Program for a telephonic stroke risk assessment screening. During this 15-minute phone call, you will have the opportunity to
- Review your blood pressure and other factors that contribute to stroke risk
- Learn changes we can make to prevent a future stroke
- Receive a basic plan for follow-up

In order to get the most benefit from the screening, we ask you bring a record of your recent blood pressure readings. Please try to obtain a recent reading within the previous day before the screening. You may use a home blood pressure monitor or use a public and free use blood pressure monitor at any supermarket or drug store.

Thank you for your interest in Rush University Medical Center wellness events. This program’s date has passed. Please check the calendar for future events or call (888) 352-RUSH (7874) to learn about other wellness programs offered.
