This four week class empowers older adults and family caregivers to take an active role in achieving optimal health and well-being. Come learn and practice a series of simple mindfulness skills that can improve your self-awareness and your ability to manage daily stresses or cope with chronic conditions.
Enhance your ability to focus, concentrate and feel calm
Learn and practice a variety of mindfulness skills (breathing, self-compassion, walking meditation, etc.)
Share with others in the group what it is like to learn and practice these techniques
Class fee is $20 with scholarship opportunities.
