This emotional wellness group will help family and friends who are caring for an adult or older adult gain new tools to better adapt to their role as caregiver, and better care for themselves and the person they are supporting.

In this psychotherapy group, we will work through the stress of caregiving, process difficult emotions, enhance coping and communication skills, and engage in relaxation exercises and mindfulness techniques.

This group is offered several times per year. The group meets weekly for 12 weeks at Rush University Medical Center and is billable to most insurance. An intake appointment is required prior to the start of the group.

Parking in the Rush garage or with Rush valet services will be validated in full for all participants. For more information or to register, please contact Anne West, LCSW at (312) 942-9187 or via email at anne_west@rush.edu.
