Study to Improve Awareness of Cardiovascular Risk in Rheumatoid Arthritis
The purpose of this study is to help develop and test a web-based (video) educational intervention aimed to improve cardiovascular risk awareness in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) subjects. The study will also compare changes in cardiovascular risk awareness in RA subjects before and after they have completed the web-based educational intervention.
We expect to enroll 200 subjects into the study at Rush University Medical Center. Subjects will complete online cardiovascular risk awareness surveys and watch a 30 minute video.
In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:
- Have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
You will be excluded from the study if any of the following criteria apply to you:
- Cannot take surveys on a computer or tablet.
- Do not desire to participate in research.
This is a partial list of inclusion and exclusion criteria.
