Step-Up Yellow Zone Inhaled Corticosteroids to Prevent Exacerbations
The objective of this study is to determine whether, in children receiving low-dose ICS, quintupling the dose of inhaled corticosteroids in the “yellow zone” based upon a symptom-based action plan reduces the rate of severe asthma exacerbations treated with oral corticosteroids.
In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:
- Have asthma.
- Be between the ages of 5-11 years old.
