Clinical Trial Protocol Description: 

The purpose of this trial is to study the efficacy of an internet-based targeted cognitive treatment meant to improve social cognition in people with schizophrenia. The study involves an initial phone screening after which potential participants are invited to the lab for a clinical interview to further determine eligibility. Eligible participants will be enrolled in an internet-based treatment that requires participants to complete several games each day for several weeks. Participants will also complete questionnaires, behavioral tasks and a MRI at the beginning, middle, and end of the study at the lab. Participation is expected to last 10-12 weeks and will be compensated for their time.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria: 

In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between 18 and 65 years old at the time of study screening.
  • Have a diagnosis of schizophrenia.
  • Be on a stable treatment of psychotropic regiment for at least 6 weeks prior to enrollment.

You will be excluded from the study if any of the following criteria apply to you:

  • Have been hospitalized in the 8 weeks prior to enrollment.
