Clinical Trial Protocol Description: 

This study will assess the safety and efficacy of using mesenchymal precursor cells from donor tissue in patients who have chronic heart failure. Eligible patients will receive cells injected directly into their left ventricular myocardium using a minimally invasive catheter technique or they will undergo a scripted sham procedure without catheterization and injection.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria: 

In order to participate you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a history of heart failure for greater than 6 months.
  • Be aged between 18 and 80 years.

You will be excluded from the study if any of the following criteria apply to you:

  • Have severely reduced kidney function.
  • Have severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease COPD.
